About Elita

What began as a simple favor to a friend quickly turned into an unrealized dream for Elita Friesen, owner of Elita Friesen Events.

When Elita first helped plan and coordinate her friend's wedding day in 2004, she immediately fell in love with the idea of wedding and event planning. So, leaning on her background in advertising and public relations, Elita began marketing herself and her new business: Elita Friesen Events. Word quickly spread throughout Elita's hometown of Mobile, Alabama about her attention to detail, creativity, and her nack for design. She soon began traveling as far as Florida and even to British Columbia, Canada to work on different events.

A self-confessed "sucker for details", Elita helps her clients plan their event from day one. Elita is a one-stop-shop when it comes to the best vendors in Mobile, including florists, DJ's, rentals, and more. "My goal is to make every event and every wedding not only unforgettable, but completely stress free for my client."

Elita has a degree in advertising/public relations. Although a native of Houston, TX, she currently resides in mid-town Mobile with her husband, Ryan, and their 2 year old son, Noah.
